Plywood canoe? - woodenboat, I am a first time boat builder. i wanted a modified canoe-type boat that could carry two people on calm water. i was thinking about using luan plywood and taping the seams with fiberglass tape and coating the surface with epoxy. it would have three frames, what woods are best? are there any opinions out there concerning luan plywood for this sort thing..
